Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are happy to announce the new date for the 10th International Congress of Tidal Sedimentology! Tidalites 2022 will take place in Matera, Italy, from May 3rd to May 5th 2022.
As we wait to meet and discuss in person about new exciting research in the field of Tidal Sedimentology, we invite you to join us in a 2-days virtual symposium during October 5th-6th 2021. These dates, originally designed to host the postponed Tidalites 2021, will be a good chance to virtually reunite the scientific community and for lively discussions about some of the hottest topics of Tidalites 2022. Six keynote speakers will introduce us to applicative aspects of Tidal Sedimentology, focused on both modern and ancient case studies. At the end of each half day of the symposium, a short video will outline the field trips preceding and following the three days of Tidalites 2022 and further details on the scientific programme of the congress will be announced.
The pre-Tidalites Virtual Symposium will be free of charge and will be hosted on the GoToMeeting platform provided by the Italian Geological Society.
