AAPG Geosciences Technology Workshops 2018 - Biogenic Gas and Gas Hydrates: New Opportunities and Future Challenges

Now that many of the largest gas discoveries over the last decade are biogenic in origin we will be exploring the new play types, the basin and source modelling and where the focus for exploration currently sits.
We will look at the full spectrum of discoveries from the onshore gas fields of 1bcf in Italy through to the giant gas fields of Egypt and the eastern Mediterranean and even as far afield the biogenic gas discoveries in Myanmar.
