The Italian National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics (OGS) and the University of Trieste are organizing an Advanced Master in Sustainable Blue Growth.
The aim of the Master is to enhance the marine and maritime training curriculum with a focus on the Mediterranean region, to promote sustainable economic development and responsible growth and to contribute to the promotion of employment in the so-called blue careers, while at the same time helping to foster dialogue between the Mediterranean countries, thanks to the Science Diplomacy.
The high-level course (entirely in English) will take place in Trieste (Italy) and will last for a year. The beginning of the master will be through an online kick-off and a first series of lessons will be provided at online basis in order to provide a master's overview and to uniform the students skills. The teacher-led classes will be distributed over the year during three two-week intensive sessions that will take place in March, July and October 2018 respectively.
