Dear Colleagues,
I'm pleasant to inform you on the extension of the deadline for the abstract submission to attend to the 2nd edition of the Petroleum Geology Student Contest, to the July 31st.
The meeting will be held October 4th-5th 2017 in Calvello, southern Italy. PhD and MSc Students are encouraged to submit their abstracts at the following link: http://petroleumgeologystudentcontest.com/call-for-abstract/
The contributions, which must be no longer than 3,000 characters, will be published on a Special Issue of the Italian Geological Society. Among all the submitted abstracts, 16 (8 for PhD and 8 for MSc students) will be selected by a Scientific Committee and will be invited for an oral and poster presentation at the workshop.
A Judgment Committee will evaluate the two best presentations, which will be awarded with two grants of 5,000 and 3,000 Euros, respectively.
Importantly: all the student presenters will receive hotel accommodation and meals kindly offered by our sponsor, Shell Italy E&P.
