Deformation and metamorphism are known to interact across different scales and times, contributing to build and transform the lithosphere in diverse geodynamics settings. This session invites researchers, from crossing research fields, to interact in sharing their findings in the identification, quantification and modeling of rock parameters allowing the understanding of the interaction between deformation processes and reaction mechanisms. In particular, we seek innovative contributions that combine observations with quantification and/or modeling and experimental approaches at all scales, from mineral to lithosphere scales.
