Dear all,
We would like to draw your attention to our EGU session "Marine geophysical tools applied to active tectonics: fault characterization as input for hazard assessment" (NH5.7, TS5).
Due to the improvement of marine observations in the last decades (e.g., better instrumentation or growing number of data) our understanding of marine active tectonics and associated hazards is also improving. This session is aimed at compiling geophysical studies used for the characterization of offshore active structures and associated processes as tsunamis or landslides, relating these processes with hazards when possible.
A more detailed description of the session can be found here: https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2020/session/34856
